Is TitlePull Legit? Here's Exactly How It Works
Fair question, you're about to trust a report with a multi-thousand-dollar decision. Here's the complete picture, in one place.
Where the data comes from
TitlePull reports are built on the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS), the U.S. Department of Justice–overseen federal database that all states, insurance carriers, and salvage yards are required by law to report into. We access it through our data partner VinData (VIN Data Products LLC), an Approved NMVTIS Data Provider (you can verify approved providers at vehiclehistory.gov). We add open safety-recall data from NHTSA and market valuation from Black Book®, then generate a plain-English summary so the report is actually readable.
What you pay and what you get
$9.99, once. No subscription, no account, no stored card, no upsells, and we don't sell your information to dealers or lead brokers. The report arrives by email within minutes: full title history, brand checks (salvage, rebuilt, flood, lemon, and more), odometer records, theft records, open recalls, valuation, and the summary.
The guarantees
- 14-day refund policy for blank reports, duplicate charges, or delivery errors (link)
- Payments handled entirely by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1), we never see or store your card
- Delivered in minutes, and retrievable anytime at your saved report page
Honest about the limits
No vehicle history report, ours or anyone's, can show events that were never reported. A car flooded without an insurance claim, or repaired off the books, won't appear in any database. That's why we recommend pairing every report with an independent mechanic's inspection. A report shows the car's recorded past; a mechanic shows its present.
Who's behind it
TitlePull is built and run by TitlePull LLC, a Wyoming company founded by Andy to make vehicle-history checks fast, honest, and affordable. Questions? support@titlepull.com, a real person answers.
TitlePull is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act; reports are for informational purposes only.
