Is TitlePull legit? How our reports work

Short answer: yes. TitlePull LLC is a registered Wyoming business that delivers federal NMVTIS vehicle history reports for a flat $9.99, with no subscription, no account, and no stored card. Here's exactly how it works.

TitlePull is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or related to any other website or service with a similar name.

Where the data comes from

TitlePull reports are built on the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS), a federal database operated under the U.S. Department of Justice. We access NMVTIS data through VinData (VDP LLC), an Approved NMVTIS Data Provider listed on the official vehiclehistory.gov registry. That means every report carries the same title-brand, salvage, theft, and odometer data that NMVTIS itself receives from state DMVs, insurance carriers, and licensed salvage facilities.

Secure checkout

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest standard in the payments industry. TitlePull never sees or stores your card number. There's no account to create, no password to remember, and no card kept on file for future charges.

14-day refund policy

TitlePull offers a 14-day refund window for blank reports, duplicate charges, delivery errors, and wrong-vehicle decode failures. See the full Refund Policy for terms.

FCRA disclosure

TitlePull is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Reports are provided for informational purposes only and may not be used for employment, tenant, credit, or insurance underwriting decisions.

What our reports can and can't tell you

A TitlePull report shows the title history, brand events (salvage, rebuilt, flood, lemon, and others), odometer readings reported to DMVs, theft and total-loss records on file at NMVTIS, open NHTSA recalls, and a Black Book® market valuation. It also includes an AI-generated plain-English summary at the top.

What it can't tell you: a report only contains events that were reported to NMVTIS or NHTSA. Accidents that were never claimed, repairs paid in cash, and unreported mechanical issues won't appear. For mechanical condition, always pair the report with a pre-purchase inspection by your own mechanic.

Is TitlePull a scam?

No. TitlePull LLC is a registered company with a published business address and a support email that a real person answers. A report costs $9.99 one time. There is no subscription, no account to create, and no card kept on file. Payments are processed by Stripe, so your card details never touch our systems, and our refund policy applies if something goes wrong with your order.

TitlePull is not affiliated with any similarly named apps or services.

TitlePull complaints

Most complaints about any vehicle history service fall into three buckets: a report came back thin, the email did not arrive, or the buyer expected information the data set does not contain. Here is how we handle each one.

If a report comes back blank or the wrong vehicle was decoded, that qualifies for a refund inside our 14-day window. If the email did not arrive, you can pull the report again from the report retrieval page using the email address you purchased with. And if you expected crash or repair detail that never appears, remember that a report only reflects events that were actually reported to a state or federal record system. Unclaimed accidents and cash repairs will not be in any report, from any provider. Email support@titlepull.com and we will work it out.

TitlePull reviews

We do not host reviews on this site, because reviews a company controls are not worth much. You can read independent reviews, or leave your own, on our Trustpilot profile.

If you would rather judge the product than the reviews, look at a real sample report first. It shows exactly what you get for $9.99 before you spend anything.
