1. Agreement

By using titlepull.com or purchasing a TitlePull vehicle history report, you agree to these terms.

2. The service

TitlePull LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, provides consumer vehicle history reports for $9.99 per VIN. Reports draw from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) via the data provider VinData (VDP LLC), an Approved NMVTIS Data Provider, plus open NHTSA safety recall data and Black Book® market valuations.

3. NMVTIS Prohibited Uses

Vehicle history reports from TitlePull are provided for the personal, non-commercial use of the requesting consumer. They may not be used for: decisions regarding eligibility for credit, insurance, or employment; tenant screening; underwriting, rating, or pricing of insurance; marketing or compiling commercial databases; or any purpose subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). TitlePull is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Misuse may violate federal law including the FCRA and the Driver Privacy Protection Act (DPPA).

4. AI-generated summary

Each report includes a plain-language summary generated by an AI model from OpenAI, L.L.C. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. The raw data sections of the report are authoritative; the AI summary is a convenience.

5. No warranty

Reports are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. TitlePull does not guarantee data completeness or accuracy beyond what is reported by upstream data sources. Data depends on reporting from state DMVs, insurance carriers, and salvage facilities. A vehicle history report is not a substitute for an independent vehicle inspection.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TitlePull's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim ($9.99). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Seller Mode

When you use Seller Mode to deliver a report to a third party (the "buyer"), you represent that you have authority to share the vehicle's information with that buyer. The buyer's email address is processed only to deliver the report and a single delivery confirmation; the buyer is not added to any marketing list without their separate opt-in.

9. Account-free model

TitlePull does not require account creation. Each transaction is independent. Each report is delivered to the email address used at purchase, with a unique online viewing link valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. After 90 days the online link expires and the report is no longer retrievable.

10. Intellectual property

The TitlePull name, logo, report template design, and website content are the property of TitlePull LLC. NMVTIS data is provided under license from VinData (VDP LLC). Black Book® is a registered trademark of Hearst Business Media Corp.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be posted at titlepull.com/terms with an updated "last updated" date.
